Resale
It is presumed that Retailers purchasing Glasser or Larsen products through the GWSD webstore are expected to resell or rent Glasser or Larsen products to their end-user customers in their own retail locations. If it is determined that a Retailer is reselling Glasser or Larsen products to anyone other than end-users may be subject to having their Glasser Authorized Dealer status revoked, depending upon the circumstances of those transactions.
Minimum Advertised Price
Glasser Bows utilizes MAP (Minimum Advertised Pricing) to ensure that our distributors and retailers do not advertise pricing that is detrimental to the Glasser or Larsen brands. Any Distributor or Retailer purchasing a Glasser or Larsen product for resale is expected to comply with MAP. Failure to comply will result in revocation of Glasser Authorized Dealer status.
Internet Sales
The Internet is a wonderful tool for many retailers, and GWSD encourages retailers to feature Glasser and Larsen products on their own sites. However, the Internet it is also a vehicle for many unscrupulous business practices, including violating MAP. Glasser Authorized Dealers are allowed to advertise Glasser bows and products on websites they host, manage, and maintain provided they adhere to MAP pricing. Retailers are not allowed to resell Larsen Strings or Glasser bows and products through secondary sites including but not limited to: Amazon, Overstock, etc. A Retailer discovered to be selling Glasser or Larsen products through such sites will have their status as a Glasser Authorized Dealer revoked.
